ESP is the center of the employment
services provided by New Day Enterprises. There are three
on-site programs as well as contractual programs.
One of the services offered by New Day on-site is
the shredding of confidential paper documents. Last year
New Day clients shredded 11,696 pounds of paper for businesses
in La Grande and the outlying areas. |
Clients also sew bright red
shorts for use in the prison system. 2,544 prisoners received
new exercise shorts last year thanks to New Day clients
and staff. Their sewing skills are also put to use in the
production of caskets. . |

Out in the community, clients
clean numerous churches and government buildings. They also
provide recycling services and downtown garbage services. |
